About Me
After dropping out of a Computer Science degree at Uni in 1988,
I returned to studies part time in 1997 and graduated from Podiatry with honours in 2003.
In 2005 my wife and I started our own podiatry practice from scratch.
I worked my backside off for years, visiting referrers, doing letterbox drops, anything to get the name out.
It worked, I soon became so busy that I couldn’t do much else, seeing over 20 patients a day.
Then in 2017 I developed a chronic lung condition which severely restricted my ability to see patients.
For about two weeks I sat at home wondering what I was going to do, then a friend from my teenage years suggested that I look at SEO and content marketing.
It was one of the best pieces of advice that I have had. I dove in and learned and tested everything I could find, until I developed my own method for promoting our podiatry website.
I managed to take the website from almost zero visitors to over 28,000 per month. Online bookings soared and our website became our biggest referrer of new patients.
